DD India reports students, teachers and parents marching nationwide and blockading hundreds of French campuses on Tuesday, with tear gas in Lyon and scuffles in Strasbourg over staffing and classroom conditions. It attributes cumulative figures of 24 schools burned or ransacked, 215 students and 715 police injured, more than 6,100 arrests and over 1,800 prosecutions to official accounts. It reports ten internal policing inquiries and an inquiry into a fourteen-year-old's grave injury, retaining his family's allegation of a point-blank tear-gas-launcher shot. An unidentified speaker recognizes legitimate grievances but alleges infiltration and spreading violence. The package describes work on teacher replacements, schedules, lunch breaks and buildings, and preserves government/Le Pen accusations against LFI and its denial. The figures and allegations are not independently reconciled or adjudicated.
Fourteen-year-old Eden was injured by a close-range tear-gas-launcher shot during the school-protest confrontation in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône. France 2’s earlier September 28 report describes the unnamed pupil as attacking police and says two Pontoise investigations opened. Its October 5 report identifies Eden, shows the same confrontation footage, reports an IGPN inquiry and airs his parents describing a wired jaw and liquid feeding. The later report attributes to the prosecutor an account that Eden approached police. These attributed accounts do not settle responsibility.
