Democracy Now reports an initial 22 injured, including children, in a Russian guided-aerial-bomb strike on a Kharkiv apartment building. Resident Yulia Baldzhy describes escaping with her children through shattered glass and smoke. TSN's later anchor update reports 43 injured in Saltivskyi district. Its field report describes a strike around 04:00 on a nine-story building, collapse of the slabs around the second and third floors, damage to ten neighboring apartment buildings and evacuation of around thirty people. An earlier interview within the package gives thirty injured, including nine children, with a roughly twelve-year-old girl and a man still hospitalized; the youngest injured child is reported to be three. Residents describe the explosion and emergency response. Crews repeatedly suspend rubble clearance under further attack threats and resume when they pass. TSN calls the weapon a projectile and does not resolve Democracy Now's guided-bomb attribution; the provisional injury counts are not added together. TV Brasil's September 28 roundup reports 35 injured, including ten children, in the Kharkiv attack and attributes the destruction to drones. This differs from Democracy Now's guided-bomb description and from TSN's 43-injured anchor update and earlier package figures. These are source-specific provisional accounts, not additional casualties or independent proof of the weapon used.
