Vremya's military update Bridge strikes and pockets
Russia claims Hrachivka and Serdobine
Oct 2
The anchor and Pchelkin give a Russian-side military roundup. They claim Hrachivka and Serdobine have been cleared in Kharkiv region, splitting a Ukrainian pocket, and also mention Mala Rybytsia in Sumy. Pchelkin describes a fourth strike in two days on Kyiv's Southern Bridge, claimed road and barrier damage and reports of a damaged pier, stopped traffic, restrictions on Paton and Metro bridges, lengthy alternative journeys and alleged military use. He also reports an overnight Kyivska substation strike, alleged Kyiv departures inferred from rental listings, and data-centre strikes. A quoted Russian Defence Ministry weekly account claims one massive and seven group attacks against infrastructure, airfields, drone sites, ammunition and Flamingo missiles. Pchelkin describes continuing Russian drone attacks, ammunition and fuel-depot destruction and fighting in the claimed Dobropillia pocket, and North Group operations around the Kharkiv pocket. The claimed control, damage, military uses, casualties and departures remain attributed; the report supplies no independent confirmation or Ukrainian response.
Vremya's October 2 update claims Russian control of Hrachivka and Serdobine in Kharkiv region and says the Ukrainian pocket has shrunk and split. Pchelkin describes North Group operations, artillery and air support, alleged prevention of breakout and rotation, and assault groups splitting the pocket. These are Russian-side operational and territorial claims without independent confirmation; the adjacent Sumy claim concerns a separate place.
