Barseghyan urges use of EAEU project funding

Oct 5

Barseghyan argues that five EAEU members can combine technologies and production capabilities to reduce import dependence. She says cooperation projects have doubled in roughly two years of support, describes high-technology projects with 3.4 billion Russian rubles in subsidies and about 5 billion in mutual supplies, and urges pharmaceutical and medical-device businesses to use available funding. She gives a 12-billion-ruble funding figure and says support has also been extended to agriculture. She presents cooperative value chains as a route to the EAEU market and benefits for citizens and business. This is a BIOPROM appeal and progress account, not a new October 1 INNOPROM meeting or an announcement that all available funds have been spent.

At BIOPROM on October 5, Barseghyan urges pharmaceutical and medical-device firms to use the EAEU industrial-cooperation support mechanism. She reports doubled cooperation projects over roughly two years, 3.4 billion rubles in subsidies and about five billion in cooperative supplies, and cites twelve billion rubles in available funds. She also describes extension of support to agriculture. This is a later implementation appeal and progress account, distinct from the October 1 INNOPROM visit and October 2 Minsk proposals.
