CCTV reports Xi and Peng Liyuan attending Trump’s state dinner and carries both leaders’ remarks. They recall the May visit, wartime cooperation, trade and people-to-people exchanges. Xi recounts an American helping Yin Yuzhen plant trees. Their descriptions of friendship and new consensus are their stated positions, distinct from evidence that every proposed cooperation has been implemented.

Fox's September 25 White House report says technology executives including Elon Musk and Sam Altman attended the state dinner for Xi Jinping the previous night. The brief confirms attendance but does not attribute an agreement to the dinner. Oman TV's Ayman Samir says Xi described feeling at home at the previous night's dinner. He separately recounts Xi's call at the working dinner for AI to remain at humanity's service and under human control, contrasting it with Trump's attitude to AI risks.
