TV Brasil reports a US$1 million Trump-administration programme, equivalent to more than R$5 million, to support civil-society initiatives challenging what its proposal calls Supreme Court overreach and censorship. Manuela Castro identifies the Human Rights and Democracy Fund and congressional funding, but explicitly says she cannot establish whether money has been transferred or merely earmarked. The AGU sent a complaint to the Federal Police and Federal Public Prosecutor's Office that day; Jorge Messias calls the alleged interference intolerable and a sovereignty warning. International-relations specialist Natália Fingermann characterizes it as part of US interference in Brazil's election and cites sanctions, tariffs and visa revocation as context. The programme's allegations and her interpretation remain attributed, and disbursement is unconfirmed.
