Oct 7
Más Madrid proposes Ada Colau as the Broad Front's candidate for prime minister and Barcelona list leader, seeking leadership and control of the Madrid list in return. RTVE describes a collective candidacy with regional leaders. Colau has not yet responded to this proposal; Comuns sources say no comprehensive agreement is final. The report recalls her willingness to return for a broad alliance including Podemos, carries Mónica García's willingness to help and Antonio Maíllo's invitation to the wider left, and describes Podemos's October 14–15 primaries and Compromís's demand for its own Valencian leadership and banner. The coalition-registration deadline is approaching.
Más Madrid publicly proposes Ada Colau to lead the negotiating Broad Front and head its Barcelona list, while seeking control of the Madrid candidacy. RTVE reports that Colau has not responded to this new proposal and Comuns says an overall agreement remains unfinished. Other partners' positions, Podemos's planned primaries and Compromís's requested regional identity remain part of the unresolved negotiations.
