Soroka on October 7 The Shift footage preview

Oct 5

Kan announces Real Time: The Shift, premiering after the news with first-public security-camera footage of Soroka Hospital on October 7, 2023. The excerpt shows the Cunio family from Nir Oz arriving shortly after 7 p.m. after hours in a safe room and their home being set on fire, and recalls David and Ariel's earlier abduction. An unnamed medical worker recounts meeting Be'eri survivor Avida Bachar, exhausted and dehydrated after his wife and son were murdered and his daughter injured. The closing announcement identifies the film, hosts Chen Liberman and Roni Singer, hundreds of wounded arrivals from communities, bases and Nova, and simultaneous online Arabic and English translations. The advertised documentary and the historical hospital reception are distinct occurrences; merely mentioned hosts or abducted people are not treated as speakers.
