Karisalov describes SIBUR's Gaprin scale-up

Oct 5

Karisalov says SIBUR brings about twenty years of linking research with commercialization, ten research centres, more than 800 new product grades over five years and 452 patents. He identifies industrializing laboratory developments while preserving quality and controlling capital and production costs as the key challenge. He describes SIBUR's progression into a full industrial partner in the Gaprin protein project, praises engineering centres and grants for early development, and says commercially viable capacity remains a further challenge. Its contribution includes knowledge of customer industries, engineers, technologists and construction expertise, with science at the core; he does not announce a completed new Gaprin plant.

At BIOPROM, Karisalov describes SIBUR's industrial partnership in the Gaprin protein project and the challenge of turning laboratory developments into commercially viable production. He cites research centres, patents and new product grades as experience, praises early engineering support and offers cross-sector engineers, technologists and construction expertise. He does not announce a completed plant or a guaranteed commercial outcome.
