Sultan Qaboos University launches 'Our Values, Our Digital Identity' under its president's patronage. Ahmed Al Nasri's report and interviews explain an awareness campaign for children, young people and parents about responsible social-media and smart-app use, civic values, digital addiction and cyber extortion. The first phase is to visit Seeb before other Muscat educational institutions, with guidance material informed by research and field surveys. Badriya Al Wuhaibi discusses parental guidance, while Mohammed Al Balushi says the platforms themselves offer benefits and calls for informed use. Family, educational and community roles are stressed; future outreach is described as planned.
