Shishkin covers today's Cabinet meeting, including Mishustin's birthday greeting to Putin. He describes Donbas militia and people's-militia veterans from 2014 lacking service records; Mishustin presents a bill giving an interagency commission additional powers to verify undocumented military/equivalent service for pensions. The reporter attributes the initiative to Putin, without claiming parliamentary enactment. Mishustin describes nearly three billion rubles for utility networks and roads at Lago-Naki, Magic Baikal and Zavidovo, not completed construction. Two government-established science scholarships, Kurchatov and Alexandrov, cover physics/radiochemistry and nuclear/electrical/thermal power engineering. Monthly payments are 30,000 rubles for students and 50,000 for postgraduates, with academic/research eligibility, ministry competition and Kurchatov Institute support; first recipients are to be selected this year.
Vremya says government is allocating nearly three billion rubles for tourism infrastructure. Mishustin names utility networks and roads connecting Lago-Naki in Adygea, Magic Baikal in Buryatia and Zavidovo in Tver region. This is funding and continued construction, without established completion of the resorts or works.
