School shooting body camera New Virginia footage

Oct 6

David Muir reports newly public video from the Virginia school where a six-year-old first grader shot and wounded a teacher in 2023. The footage shows the child on an adult's lap while officers ask questions. ABC says the teacher survived gunshots to her hand and chest and that the child's mother ultimately pleaded guilty to child neglect. The report concerns the new footage, with the older shooting and plea as background; it gives no new shooting or plea date.
