Parnamirim child video Gun-like objects examined

Oct 4

TVU Rio Grande do Norte's Frankley Diniz reports a nine-year-old filmed on a car roof after Sunday's Parnamirim election celebration holding a handgun-like object, with another clip showing what appears to be a replica rifle. The report says Flávio Bolsonaro won the city's presidential vote. Prosecutors and Civil Police investigate; responsible adults have been identified but police provide no further detail. The mother tells the Guardianship Council the boy was with his father and she did not know about the incident. Amanda Melo describes psychological distress, missed school and referral for care. Aline Juliete discusses firearm/child-protection statutes and conditional parental/civil liability, including a hypothetical for children over 12. Whether the objects are real guns is unresolved; the account does not establish that the nine-year-old faces a socio-educational penalty.
