Shevchenko seeks funding Regional programme cuts

Oct 5

Shevchenko says individual development programmes for ten low-development regions have been effective with ten billion in 2025–2026. The draft continues them at nine billion; he asks to retain the current amount. No restoration is approved.

Shumkov credits Kurgan's tailored development programme with fiscal and real-economy gains. Shevchenko asks to preserve ten billion rubles for the ten-region individual-development programme rather than the draft's nine billion. Siluanov explains a broader ten-percent investment cut and offers conditional work before second reading if resources and a political decision are available. No restoration is approved.
