Biletskyi reports gains Nove and key heights claimed
Biletskyi’s Operation Vivaldi phase-three gains report
Sep 28
TSN relays Third Army Corps commander Andrii Biletskyi's account of Operation Vivaldi's third phase in the Lyman sector: 51 square kilometres regained, 2,000 Russian personnel killed and 250 taken prisoner. It names Ridkodub and Katerynivka as retaken and Karpivka and Novomykhailivka as brought back under control. Biletskyi identifies Nove and nearby high ground as the key gain, saying Russia misread the main axis as Shandryholove–Zelena Dolyna and spent reserves there. TSN also describes old Soviet armored personnel carriers converted into remotely operated explosive vehicles and entire Russian units surrendering. These are Ukrainian operational and loss claims; the bulletin provides no independent territorial or casualty verification and no individual recapture dates.
