Qaani's resistance-anniversary unity appeal
Oct 1
IRINN reports Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani calling for unity among Muslim nations at the second anniversary of the resistance front's leaders' deaths. He says America has been expelled from Iraq and that its expectation of forcing Iran to surrender in four days or two weeks failed. He invokes the late leader's call for a belt of defense, independence and dignity from Afghanistan to Yemen and Iran to Gaza and Lebanon. These are his political assessments and appeal, without a newly adopted alliance or verified assessment of military success.
At the resistance leaders' second-anniversary commemoration, Qaani urges Muslim unity and a regional belt of defense and independence. IRINN reports him saying the U.S. has been expelled from Iraq and failed to force Iran's rapid surrender and recalling the late leader's appeal to support other Muslim nations. Those are his political assessments, not a newly formed defense agreement.
