Russia’s military update Vremya’s strikes account
Deadly drone strike in Kyiv’s Shuliavka area
Sep 25
Vremya’s Alexey Ivanov presents Russia’s September 28 military update. The report alleges strikes on Kyiv data centers, warehouses and commercial sites, a Dnipro computing facility, a Brovary terminal and the Yahodyn checkpoint, and replays footage described as Friday’s Data Group strike. It alleges military use of civilian facilities and blames Ukrainian air defenses for residential damage. The same report claims Novovodiane and Ulanove captured, advances around Dobropillia and Vovchansk, and drone strikes on a hexacopter-control site. Its territorial, casualty, target-use and air-defense claims remain attributed to the Russian programme and military account; they are not independent confirmation.
TSN initially reports four killed and seven wounded in an approximately 15:00 drone strike beside an office building in Solomianskyi, with a child among those affected. Datagroup identifies its data center as hit and says no employees were injured. The later field report describes a jet-powered drone, burning cars, dangerous facade debris, a dead driver, an injured taxi driver sought by his sister, and a shopkeeper surviving a second strike near her premises that day. Emergency crews use a ladder and ground robot and assist relatives. The later anchor cites Klitschko's citywide daily toll of seven dead and 57 injured; the package's four bodies at this site are an earlier, narrower count. Vremya's September 25 brief describes the Kyiv data center as processing intelligence for Ukrainian forces and presents it as a military target. It gives no evidence for that use, no casualty account and no company name. Contemporaneous Russian reporting identifies the data center in this Defense Ministry account as Datagroup, supporting association with TSN's identified site. The military-use allegation remains distinct from TSN's reports of civilian casualties and the company's statement that its staff were unhurt. Vremya returns on September 28 to what it explicitly calls the previous Friday's Datagroup strike and credits the 50th Varyag Brigade with filming the attack in real time. Its ensuing discussion attributes drones' survival to tactics and communications, then alleges Ukrainian air-defence fire damages homes. It illustrates that broader claim with an undated F-16 pursuit and an unidentified speaker's fears about Patriot interception. The illustrative material is not proven to show the September 25 strike or explain its civilian casualties; the earlier TSN account remains intact.
